The new model is touted as the successor to the highly popular OnePlus Nord CE3.

The company has announced the official launch date for the OnePlus Nord CE4 in India, which is April 1 at 6:30 PM (IST).  The design of the phone, as well as the processor that powers it, has also been disclosed.

The price of OnePlus Nord CE4 will be priced at around Rs. 24,999/- (for 8GB RAM + 128GB) in India. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration is speculated to be priced at ₹26,999 for consumers looking for extra storage space. Although OnePlus has not yet verified these numbers, if they are correct, they suggest a cheaper pricing point than its predecessor, which would make it an alluring choice for buyers.

The company showcased the Nord CE4 on ‘X’ – formerly Twitter. The post suggests that Nord CE is available in two colours: Celadon Marble and Dark Chrome.

The OnePlus Nord CE4, model number CPH2613, is noteworthy because it recently received BIS certification. According to leaked mockups, the selfie camera will have a punch-hole cutout in the centre, possibly housing an AMOLED display with a fingerprint reader built into it for authentication.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 features a 50MP primary camera with a pixel binning at 12.6MP. In addition, a 16MP front camera for selfie-lovers is also available.

Contrary to the Snapdragon 782G SoC seen in the CE3, OnePlus has formally confirmed that the next phone would be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. In comparison to its preceding player, this upgrade is expected to enhance power savings by 20%, boost CPU performance by 15%, and improve GPU performance by 50%.

It has been reported that a 5,000 mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC charging technology will be included with the gadget. It is expected to run on the most recent version of Android 14, which includes OxygenOS 14.

The official OnePlus website has a dedicated microsite that provides more information about the phone as well as showcasing its design.
