A video of this incident at Narendra Modi Maidan is going viral. In which Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya is going from the dugout to the dressing room. Then the fans nearby saw him and shouted slogans. Hardik Pandya did not react to this and went straight to the dressing room. The video of this incident has become popular on social media.

In another incident in the same match, a dog suddenly enters the field, making the match pause for a while. It has been claimed by posting a video that the audience in the stadium started shouting Hardik-Hardik. If this claim is true, then there is talk that Hardik Pandya was badly insulted by the home fans at his home ground.
