BMW has recently launched its new electric SUV xDrive50. After tapping the Indian market and noticing customers’ love towards luxury cars, the company launched their new cars in India. 

BMW iX xDrive50 Launch: Despite being expensive, the cars have a great fan following. The prices of these cars cross crores of rupees, but the attractive design, looks, and features are worth the money spent. 

BMW has launched a new high-spec variant of the iX xDrive50 in India. This top variant has a bigger battery. It will also get more range. Apart from this, powerful motors make it a robust machine. Compared to the iX xDrive40, the interior and exterior have been through minor modifications. The xDrive50 costs Rs. 19 lacs more than the xDrive 40.

The iX xDrive50 has a 111.5kWh battery pack. Its WLTP-certified range is 635km. Two electric motors are provided on each axle and generate a combo of 523HP power and 765Nm peak torque through all-wheel drive. This all-electric SUV accelerates to 100kph in just 4.6 seconds.

BMW says car owners can charge 10 to 18 per cent battery in 35 minutes via a 195kW DC charger. Similar charging can be done in 97 minutes by a 50kW DC charger, 5.5 hours by a 22kW AC charger and around 11 hours by an 11kW AC charger.

The iX xDrive 50 and xDrive40 look similar, with the same features and safety kit. The iX xDrive 50 gets new 22-inch alloy wheels and adaptive suspension as standard. At the same time, the company offers laser light highlights, titanium bronze exterior finish and active seat ventilation as options.

The ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 1.40 crore.
